Role Description This full-time, on-site Associate Financial Advisor role is based in St Peters, MO. The Associate Financial Advisor will support senior advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning services, including gathering client information, preparing analyses, and assisting in the development of financial strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in client meetings, preparing presentations, monitoring investment portfolios, and updating financial plans as clients’ circumstances change.
The role also involves conducting product and market research, maintaining accurate client records, and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements. The Associate Financial Advisor will collaborate with the advisory team to provide responsive client service and contribute to business development activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to support the design of comprehensive client strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to analyze portfolios, evaluate options, and interpret market information.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Advisory to engage with clients, explain recommendations, and build long-term relationships.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present complex information in an accessible way.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on commitments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred; progress toward relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFP, Series licenses) is a plus.
- Ethical mindset, client-focused attitude, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
