Floor Finisher

Full Time Role – 40 hours a week (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.) Working rotating holidays and every other weekend.

The Floor Finisher supports housekeeping by cleaning and refinishing floors (buffing, stripping, waxing) in the hospital, including terminal cleaning of operating room suites where required.

Barnes‑Jewish St. Peters Hospital is a 102‑bed community hospital serving families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties, with specialty services such as the Siteman Cancer Center, Breast Health Center, Cardiology Center, Neurosurgery Center, and outpatient surgery and endoscopy centers. The hospital holds Chest Pain Center Accreditation and Level II stroke certification.

• Perform floor care and project cleaning functions in assigned areas.
• Maintain cleaning equipment clean and functional per department procedures.
• Handle hazardous and infectious waste properly.
• Report defects to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency spills according to procedure.

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

• 2–5 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
