Description:

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse.
The position involves caring for adults and geriatrics.
Candidates should have stroke care experience.
The average daily census on the unit is typically around 16 patients.
The nurse will float between medical/surgical units and ICU as needed.
Patient ratios are generally 1:4-6, depending on the census.

Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential.
Knowledge of post cardiac care and post MI care is required.
IV insulin protocols and feeding tube management skills are necessary.
The role involves blood product administration and central line management.
Wound care and isolation precautions knowledge is important.
The unit will provide interdisciplinary support, including various therapy services.
Candidates will be required to work every other weekend.
Must comply with specific equipment and procedural requirements as outlined.
Flexibility in schedule and patient assignments is expected.
