- Performs various production control activities including order processing, coordinating production schedules and analyzing reports to ensure efficient and effective progress is being made. Maintains communication between departments as needed.
- Work with Production Control Manager to balance safety and buffer stocks with business Inventory Turn objectives
- Keep Production Manager informed of critical issues which affect production schedule
- Progress/Issues of jobs
- Identify delays in Production;
Machine issues, Quality issues, Planning/Programming issues, etc. - Collaborate with Customer Account Manager (CAM) to proactively address schedule risk items to develop and implement plans to maintain delivery schedules
- Monitor and manage job release queues to assure on time start to Epicor Scheduled start dates
- Monitor/Manage Suggestions for job creation, date changes & qty changes
- Monitor progress of critical path and Late Jobs using Job Notifications/Follow Ups
- Assign actions to functional groups in response to system suggestions or to raise awareness of schedule risk items
- Build, compile & analyze production reports
- Audit Job Traveler status
- Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS9100, for example).
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Provides flexible support for various operational activities as needed
