What You'll DoAs our Machining Supervisor
, you'll be the driving force behind daily machining operations, leading a skilled team to deliver high-quality products on time while maximizing productivity and efficiency.
- Lead and inspire a team of machining professionals
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure customer quality requirements and delivery commitments are met
- Drive productivity improvements through equipment, tooling, and process enhancements
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members for long-term success
- Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, and budget performance
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and operational excellence initiatives
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other departments to optimize production
- Lead performance reviews, cross-training efforts, and workforce development
- Present operational metrics and lead improvement-focused meetings
- Work with customers, auditors, and business partners as needed
- Aerospace Industry Experience
- 3 axis, 5 axis, Mazak, Integrex, etc - Hands on experience
- Demonstrates strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Is highly motivated, energetic, and proactive
- Communicates clearly and effectively
- Builds trust and accountability within teams
- Embraces change and inspires others to do the same

- Vocational training, some college coursework, or equivalent industry experience
- Manufacturing or machining leadership experience preferred
- Experience supervising production teams
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production best practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results
- Primarily an indoor, climate-controlled manufacturing facility
- Combination of desk work and shop-floor leadership
- Occasional lifting, bending, and walking throughout production areas
- Exposure to manufacturing environments that may include machine noise, temperature fluctuations, and standard industrial safety requirements
