** Job Description
** Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic and Infusion room. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes.

This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.

Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
*** May be asked to float to other locations:
Overland Park, North Kansas City, Lees Summit

** Responsibilities:
*** Phone Triage
* Schedules emergent-need appointments.
* Patient follow-up calls.
* Patient education on particular procedures and processes.
* Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
* Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
* Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.#

** Applicable

Experience:

1 year Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association or Red Cross, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
- Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, Registered Nurse
- Various Associate Degree#
