41‑Bed Medical/Surgical Unit at Barnes‑Jewish St. Peters Hospital, a 102‑bed community hospital serving St. Charles, Lincoln & Warren counties. The unit provides comprehensive inpatient care in a patient‑centered environment.

• Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities and professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and families.
• Ensures communication of the care plan across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Works safely with constant alertness in a safety‑sensitive environment.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  No prior RN experience required.
• Supervisor
  
  Experience:
  
  None required.
• Licensure:
  Current RN license.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  Less than 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
