- Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance.
- Must be comfortable with traveling up to 75 miles from home.
Description:
The Registered Nurse provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician orders.
Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process.
The Nurse is responsible to the Clinical Manager.
This position directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses.
Home visits and periodic office meetings are required.
The average number of patients per day is 5-8.The Nurse will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day.
Each type of visit and activity has a different point value for productivity expectations, totaling 30 points per week.
Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits.
First-timers are not accepted; recent specialty experience is required.
Weekend requirements may vary by location and profession.
On-call requirements vary by location and profession.
Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
The contractor will be compensated for travel between patients' homes.
This position does not guarantee hours.
Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of appointments.
Delayed or incomplete documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care may result in a cancellation.
