Job Description Saint Luke's East is looking to add to the Medical Intermediate team!
Schedule:
Part Time, Nights (2, 12 hour shifts) Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intermediate team.
Medical intermediate is a 30-bed unit that cares for a variety of diagnosis & complex medical conditions including the care of surgical, cardiac, & stroke patients. The nursing team on medical intermediate values unit teamwork, quality patient care, & has a passion for growth/development. With several experienced charge nurses who joined the team upon the units opening, this group has a strong foundation & are eagerly looking forward to growing our team.
ResponsibilitiesAccountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
Job Requirements- Applicable
Experience:
Less than 1 year - Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association or Red Cross - Registered Nurse
- Various Associate Degree
Part Time Night (United States of America)
