Teammate - Golf

Join DICK'S Sporting Goods as a Golf Teammate and help athletes and golf enthusiasts find the right equipment, apparel, and accessories. You'll provide expert, courteous service by assessing customer needs, recommending clubs, balls, technology, and apparel, and explaining product features and benefits. Assist with golf club fitting, adjustments, and basic services, maintain a clean, organized sales floor, and ensure accurate pricing and merchandising.

You'll process sales transactions, meet performance goals, and work closely with teammates in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment that values integrity, passion for sports, and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the golf department, identifying needs and recommending products
• Provide basic golf club fitting support and explain equipment features and benefits
• Maintain organized, well-merchandised golf displays and accurate signage
• Operate POS systems to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Handle cash and card transactions in line with company policies
• Support inventory stocking, tagging, and product replenishment
• Collaborate with store teammates to meet sales and service goals
• Uphold company standards for customer service, safety, and loss prevention
