Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in St. Petersburg, FL. The Accountant will manage daily financial operations, including preparing and maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing budgets and financial reports. They will ensure compliance with financial regulations and work to maintain accuracy in all financial data and reporting. Collaboration with the administrative team to support organizational goals and financial health is a key component of this position.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Budgeting and financial reporting proficiency, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance with financial regulations and applicable accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and prior experience in a non-profit organization is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
