The James
B. Sanderlin Neighborhood Family Center is hiring a full-time Accountant in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Salary: $63,000
Status: 40-hour, exempt position
Includes a two-week structured training experience with the current accountant to ensure a smooth transition.

Responsibilities- Reviewing financial transactions
- Preparing general ledger entries and maintaining Chart of Accounts documentation
- Supporting agency budgeting and reimbursements
- Maintaining fiscal records and subcontract compliance
- Assisting with the annual audit
- Preparing monthly financial reports for the Board of Trustees
- Supporting development and implementation of accounting policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
- Experience with grant-funded programs strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
