Accounting Clerk (Temporary - 2 Months | Immediate Start)
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Compensation: $22-$25/hour, based on experience

About the Role

We’re hiring an Accounting Clerk for an immediate, 2‑month project supporting day‑to‑day financial operations. This short‑term assignment is ideal for someone between roles, looking for project‑based work or gaining exposure in a new environment while keeping skills sharp.

Responsibilities
  • Execute full‑cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, and check runs
  • Manage accounts receivable by posting payments and monitoring outstanding balances
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations with accuracy and speed
  • Maintain clean, organized financial records
  • Support month‑end close and assist with reporting deliverables
  • Partner with internal team members to keep processes moving efficiently
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience with hands‑on AP/AR
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
  • Ability to step in immediately and operate with minimal ramp‑up
  • Adaptable, reliable, and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment
