We are hiring immediately for a full‑time ADMINISTRATIVE BOOKKEEPER position.
Location: Eckerd College – 4200 54th Avenue South, Saint Petersburg, Florida 33711. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full‑time, Monday through Friday; hours may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.
Pay: $25.00 per hour.

Job SummaryThe ADMINISTRATIVE BOOKKEEPER maintains comprehensive and systematic records of business transactions for a designated business unit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Interact with customers and resolve complaints, relaying relevant comments to supervisors.
- Represent the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Controller with reports and weekly closing procedures.
- Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, unit reports, check stubs, and computer printouts.
- Summarize details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfer data to the general ledger, using a calculator or computer. Reconcile and balance accounts.
- Compile records to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business.
- Calculate employee wages from time cards and submit payroll registers for payment.
- May prepare tax reports and compute, type, and mail monthly statements to customers.
- May complete records through trial balances.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Prior bookkeeping experience is required. Must be proficient with accounting software and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
