Accounts Payable Representative

CAN Community Health seeks an Accounts Payable Representative to support accurate and timely payment of vendors serving our HIV, hepatitis C, and STI programs. This role reviews and codes invoices, matches them to purchase orders, resolves discrepancies, and prepares payments while maintaining organized records. You'll partner with clinic and administrative staff, ensure compliance with internal controls and grant requirements, and support month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve quantity or pricing discrepancies
• Prepare payment runs and ensure proper authorization per company policy
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items or credits
• Maintain organized, audit-ready AP files and electronic records
• Support month-end close with AP accruals and reports
• Coordinate with clinics and departments to clarify charges and approvals
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, grant requirements, and HIPAA standards
• Assist with expense reports and corporate card reconciliations
• Contribute to process improvements in AP workflows and documentation
