Field Superintendent Residential New Construction

We are looking for a driven, hands-on Field Superintendent to help build and scale Hausmark Builders into a premier high-end residential construction company focused on luxury coastal spec and custom homes.

This is not a corporate superintendent position where you simply manage schedules from a truck or office. We are looking for a builder — someone who thrives in the field, solves problems proactively, leads by example, and wants to help grow a company from the ground up.

You will play a key role in shaping operations, building teams, establishing subcontractor relationships, implementing systems and processes, and delivering exceptional homes with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for ground-up residential construction projects
• Manage schedules, sequencing, quality control, and project execution
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
• Recruit, build, and help grow internal field teams
• Develop and strengthen subcontractor and supplier relationships
• Implement construction processes, systems, and field standards
• Ensure job sites remain organized, professional, and efficient
• Maintain and enforce safety compliance and OSHA standards
• Assist hands-on in the field when needed to keep projects moving
• Read plans, identify issues early, and execute details accurately
• Maintain high standards for workmanship and finish quality
• Help establish a scalable operational foundation for future company growth

• Experience managing ground-up residential new construction projects
• Background in carpentry or another construction trade strongly preferred
• Experience with luxury, custom, or high-end residential construction a plus
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and building systems
• Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on and field-oriented
• High attention to detail and pride in quality execution
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
