Overview

Construction Project Manager in St. Petersburg, FL. Plan, manage, and oversee all phases of construction projects, including pre‑construction, procurement, construction, and close‑out. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and consultant reports.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and inspectors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Monitor job site progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, permitting requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Assist with project close‑out.
  • Travel as needed to client locations to meet with clients, owners, and stakeholders for project planning details, specifications, status updates, or on‑site inspections.
  • Conduct meetings and discussion sessions with engineers, architects, foremen, and inspectors to address construction progress, issues, or concerns.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Architecture Technology, or a foreign equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Assistant Manager, or Project Coordinator in construction management.
  • Experience managing multiple schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Knowledge of or utilization of the following skills and technologies:
    Project Quality Plan (PQP), Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF drawings, including AutoCAD and Navisworks.
  • Familiarity with large project systems and procedures, scheduling, cost control, reporting, document control, and contract administration.
