Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Kumon Assistant located in St. Petersburg, FL. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily operations of the learning center, grading and organizing student work, providing support and guidance to students following the Kumon Method, and maintaining a conducive learning environment. Additional duties include supporting the instructor in administrative tasks such as record‑keeping, scheduling, and grading and communication to students.

The Kumon Assistant will collaborate with the instructor and other team members to ensure a positive experience for students and their families.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for tasks such as grading and record‑keeping
  • Basic proficiency in math and reading, with the ability to guide students in both subjects
  • Patience and a passion for working with children to foster their learning and development
  • Ability to follow and support the Kumon Method and center operations
  • Prior experience in an educational or childcare setting is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or holding a degree in Education or a related field is advantageous
