5th Grade Teacher

Holy Family Catholic School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled, and dynamic 5th Grade Teacher with a strong emphasis in math and science instruction. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, foster a love of learning, and support the spiritual, moral, and intellectual development of each student in alignment with our mission.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in mathematics and science
• Integrate Catholic teachings and values across the curriculum and daily classroom life
• Create a structured, positive, and respectful classroom environment that supports student growth and responsibility
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
• Utilize data and assessments to guide instruction and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, support staff, and administration
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Participate in school Masses, prayer services, and community events
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (master’s preferred)
• Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Strong background in math and science instruction
• Practicing Catholic or willingness to support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
• Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and faith-centered learning environment

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II background screening and Safe Environment Training.
