We are currently seeking a part‑time tutor for a role in our learning center at Grade Power Learning
- St. Petersburg
. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching and is passionate about helping students build their skills in these areas.

Grade Power administration communicates with parents. Tutors at Grade Power Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre‑planned. This leaves limited daily planning responsibility for the tutors. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Position Requirements:

For this position, tutors at Grade Power Learning work during morning hours Mon – Thu (9:45am – 12:45pm). Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must. This role is in‑person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position and completing a background check is mandatory.

We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• University students with tutoring experience will be considered
• Retired teachers will be considered
• Teaching certification an asset

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to 5th grade (or equivalent) level
• Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to 3-5 students at a time

You will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach/tutor with the following responsibilities:

• Teaching up to 3-5 students at different levels simultaneously
• Teaching in‑person
• Following the Grade Power Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Filling in post‑lesson notes
• Completing daily student communication updates
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

: $16 – $21 / hour based on previous experience and education

• Monday to Thursday (mornings)
