This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Drafter located in St. Petersburg, FL. The drafter will be responsible for creating and revising technical drawings, engineering designs, and schematics using CAD software. Tasks include interpreting project requirements, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring that all drawings meet technical specifications and standards. Additionally, the drafter will assist in verifying and revising existing documentation to reflect any design changes.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and 3D modeling
- Experience in creating accurate technical drawings and engineering drawings, with attention to detail
- Understanding of architectural drawings and related design principles
- Ability to interpret and create detailed schematics, layouts, and models based on project requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in engineering, drafting, or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industry standards is a plus
