What You Will Contribute To OHM AdvisorsWe are seeking a Project Engineer to support the growth of our civil engineering presence in the St. Petersburg office. You will collaborate with civil engineering teams across OHM Advisors to deliver impactful site development and municipal infrastructure projects throughout the Tampa Bay region. Your role includes project delivery, technical leadership, mentoring emerging engineers, and contributing to the continued expansion of civil engineering services locally.
YourResponsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of site development and municipal infrastructure projects, including grading, utilities, stormwater management, and roadway improvements.
- Serve as Engineer of Record and ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and permitting requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with civil engineering teams across OHM Advisors’ offices to support project delivery.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers within the St. Petersburg office.
- Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders to support successful project execution.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
- Contribute to the continued growth of civil engineering services in the Tampa Bay region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida (required).
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development and/or municipal infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Florida permitting processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.
- Interest in contributing to the growth of civil engineering services in the St. Petersburg office.
