What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors
As a Plumbing Designer, you'll play an important role in our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team, contributing to the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, educational, municipal, industrial, and institutional projects. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and designers, helping develop coordinated building system designs that improve functionality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Whether you're launching your career or building on early design experience, you'll receive mentorship, hands-on project experience, and opportunities to expand your technical expertise while contributing to projects that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
- Develop plumbing and fire protection system layouts and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Assist with plumbing fixture counts, pipe sizing, and other design calculations.
- Coordinate plumbing designs with mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines.
- Support the preparation of project specifications, reports, and other technical documentation.
- Participate in project coordination meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Assist with construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and participating in site visits.
- Apply plumbing codes, building codes, and OHM design standards throughout the design process.
- Continue developing technical knowledge through mentorship, training, and hands-on project experience.
