• Immerse yourself in a full‑time, Monday‑Friday co‑op session that will run May - December (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
• Co‑facilitate events, activities and projects to deliver tailored value to our customers and positively impact KPIs.
• Identify drivers of cost and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects consistent with the RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) methodology.
• Support the implementation of shop floor management strategies, including but not limited to Visual Management, Cell Design and Material Flow.
• Act as a culture champion and change agent.
• Provide onsite support.

• Gain the opportunity to experience aerospace manufacturing, logistics and industrial engineering challenges.
• Learn to provide real‑world support to site‑wide manufacturing and logistics processes.
• Develop process improvement skills such as root cause analysis, KPI reporting, workflow optimization and data‑driven operational support.
• Be exposed to different levels of leadership while supporting materials engagements and projects.

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co‑op session.

• Familiarity with principles and techniques commonly used in electronics and lean manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel (including advanced formulas and data visualization) and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCAD, Power BI, SQL, VBA Macros and Tableau.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
