Contract: 11+ months -- Opportunity for extension or conversion based on attendance, performance, and availability of an FTE opening.
Pay Rate: $39/hr w-2
Hybrid work schedule: will work onsite 4 days per week (typically WFH each Friday; however, this may vary depending on need).
Laptop provided.
IMPORTANT- The internal full-time salary range for this role is $70K-$75K (USD) with bonuses, so it is possible employee may receive more as a temp since this is a long-term contract without paid holidays or PTO.
Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to review financial items.
Able to perform varied moderately complex accounting activities.
Ability to find solutions to moderately complex problems.
Prepares reports in a format that can be quickly reviewed.
Able to identify potential improvements to increase efficiency in workflows processing or analyzing financial information.
Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and integrity of information.
Resolves or recommends solutions to moderately complex problems.
Performing mathematical calculations.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
Organized, detail oriented, able to manage and track multiple detailed assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Able to create Procedures and process Flowcharts
Knowledge of:- Advanced accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
- Accrual based accounting practices.
- Accounting software packages.
- Advanced cost allocation concepts and practices.
- Allocating costs and evaluating the impact on financial statements.
- Analyzing financial information.
- Performing mathematical calculations.
- Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- Lead meetings and contribute to team efforts by ensuring all relevant information is included in the outcomes.
- Implement changes to standard procedures when required by specific situations and circumstances.
- Work independently, make non-routine decisions and resolve moderately complex accounting problems.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
- Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Bachelor's degree (B.A) in accounting or finance and a minimum of three years of reconciliation accounting and analytical experience required. Previous experience in banking or with large financial corporation strongly preferred.
