Mental Health Technician II – Position Details- Facility:
St. Anthony's Hospital - Location:
St. Petersburg, FL - Status:
Full time & Pool, Hourly - Shift
Hours:
6:45 PM - 7:15 AM or 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - Weekend Work:
Every Other - On Call:
No
- Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
- Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Qualifications- Certification/Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support); CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred;
Patient Care Technician - preferred - Education:
High School or Equivalent;
Associate's degree in related field
- Mental Health Technician II: 6 months of Psychology based experience or bachelor's degree in related field
- Mental Health Technician Pool: 6 months of Psychology based experience - preferred
