ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for providing clinical services in the form of planning, groups, and assessments in collaboration with the Program Director. It involves carrying a small caseload of patients while maintaining ongoing adherence to the treatment team's direction of patient care and clinical oversight from a licensed therapist (if not licensed). It also provides general assistance with oversight of daily milieu-related needs and activities and works with the Program Manager/Program Director related to programming changes or improvements.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Education: Master's Degree in mental health related field.
- Experience: One year of experience in a mental health setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Positive leadership skills, excellent resident interaction and milieu management skills are required.
- License/Certification: Licensed or licensed eligible through the state of Florida in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling.
- Skills: Demonstrates ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrates emotional stability and dependability. Must have a good driving record. Verification of absence of criminal record on local, state and federal levels. Demonstrate effective clinical skills.
- Physical Requirements: Extensive walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs. Must be able to lift over fifty (50) pounds.
