The PACU TECH is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Petersburg, FL. Responsibilities include providing support to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), assisting with vital sign monitoring, preparing and maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring comfort and safety of patients recovering from procedures, through discharge home. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare staff, maintaining medical equipment, and documenting care activities as necessary.

• Experience in patient care, including monitoring vital signs and supporting recovery processes
• Knowledge of healthcare practices, medical equipment usage, and aseptic techniques
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are preferred
• High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in healthcare support are a plus
• Compassionate demeanor and a focus on patient-centered care
