Responsibilities

The Clinical Director drives clinical practice by leading the Regional Vice Presidents and Clinical Operations Area Directors in promoting consistent and efficient evidence‑based practice. Key duties include:

  • Developing and strategically directing clinical analysis, education, training, and planning to ensure quality care across all disciplines.
  • Serving as a clinical expert and providing leadership for the clinical team.
  • Guiding clinical operations through analytical processes, implementing service delivery programs and initiatives.
  • Influencing practice through motivation, role modeling, and leadership to achieve company goals.
  • Providing assessments, analysis, and improvement plans for clinical practice, including evidence‑based and guideline‑driven care.
  • Conducting root‑cause analysis, overseeing GRS clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and educational planning.
  • Analyzing clinical needs assessments, guiding strategic plans for practice improvement.
  • Developing and sustaining clinical processes and improvement plans, ensuring outcomes align with GRS standards.
  • Identifying training needs and delivering educational programs through various delivery modes.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for education initiatives, standards of practice, ethics, and practice acts.
  • Representing Powerback in professional associations and outreach activities.
  • Engaging master clinicians for specialty projects and supporting professional growth plans.
  • Conducting documentation audits, QI/QA, case‑management reviews and risk mitigation plans.
  • Participating in compliance investigations and interpreting regulations.
  • Collaborating on clinical quality improvement initiatives with internal and external partners.
  • Strategic engagement in customer meetings, differentiating GRS as a clinical leader.
  • Providing discipline‑specific patient care, modeling assessment, treatment, and clinical reasoning.
  • Performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid Physical Therapy license in state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or Master’s in a related field plus Bachelor’s, or Bachelor’s plus 5 years progressively responsible PT experience.
  • Degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated as U.S. equivalent.
  • Licensed/certified/registered as required in states of practice and certified by appropriate national board.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in adult and/or geriatric clinical setting with at least one year of management/supervisory experience.
  • Active participation in geriatric‑related professional or educational activities preferred.
  • Patient care experience within last 2‑3 years required.

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 – $50.00 /hr. Bonus: USD $5,000.00
