* ** Responsibilities** :
** Data Discovery & Classification*
* + Discover, classify, and inventory sensitive data (PII, PHI, PCI, confidential data) across enterprise systems using One Trust Enterprise Data Discovery (EDD) and Informatica DPM.
+ Configure and manage EDD and DPM scan jobs, including connector setup for structured and unstructured databases, file repositories, and cloud environments.
+ Develop and fine-tune data classification rules, regular expressions, metadata patterns, and validation logic to enhance scan accuracy.
+ Analyze and curate discovery results to reduce false positives and drive high-confidence classification outcomes.
+ Data Protection & Masking
+ Support ongoing data protection operations and remediation activities using Informatica TDM.
+ Build and maintain TDM masking packages, and update masking rules per business and regulatory requirements.
+ Integrate outputs from One Trust EDD into TDM processes and other data protection workflows.
+ Automate TDM job execution using Control-M or equivalent enterprise scheduling platforms.
** Engineering & Platform Support*
* + Design and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center to support data inventory management and privacy-related data processing.
+ Develop integrations between One Trust EDD, Service Now, metadata repositories, and other enterprise systems.
+ Provide hands-on engineering support for SQL Server and Oracle environments.
+ Participate in rotational on-call support for data masking and privacy operations.
** Collaboration & Leadership*
* + Work independently with minimal supervision and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
+ Engage with technical and business stakeholders to translate privacy requirements into actionable engineering solutions.
+ Document processes, configurations, and best practices to support operational excellence.
** Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
+ 5-10 years of experience in data engineering, data privacy engineering, or related technical roles.
** Strong hands-on expertise with:*
* + One Trust Enterprise Data Discovery (EDD)
+ Informatica DPM, Informatica TDM, Informatica Power Center
+ SQL, T-SQL, and Oracle database engineering
+ Control-M or similar job scheduling tools
+ Python programming experience; familiarity with ML libraries for automated data discovery is a significant plus.
+ Strong understanding of privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven stakeholder management experience.
** Preferred Qualifications*
