Job Summary
Technical Project Manager supporting the Bank Technology division s hybrid role requires presence 50% of the business days in the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office. Work visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities- Work under the direction of the Head of Bank Technology.
- Operate within a high‑risk, complex IT environment and understand IT systems.
- Develop and implement project strategies, business cases, and high‑level project plans.
- Partner with vendors and internal/external business‑unit subject matter experts to plan and implement strategies.
- Facilitate and maintain contact with internal partners and vendors to identify, research, and resolve project issues.
- Manage external resources (service providers, vendors, contractors) to achieve business results.
- Communicate project status, strategy, direction, and change to technology leadership, business leadership, and consultants.
- Develop, track, and monitor budgets and provide timely status updates and presentations to management.
- Create Smartsheet plans and dashboards to enable transparent communication and team productivity.
- Facilitate meetings; track key milestones, risks, change controls, and project reports in compliance with technology standards.
- Apply established project methodologies (SDLC, Agile), change‑control templates, and define project schedules; assist with monthly/quarterly reporting.
- Make judgments and recommendations based on analysis and knowledge; perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant project‑management experience or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Experience using Azure Dev Ops (TFS), JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent project‑management systems.
- Experience creating project schedules with MSProject and Smart Sheets.
- Experience creating and archiving documentation in repositories such as SharePoint or Confluence.
- Financial services and/or banking experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, risk management, issue tracking, change management, and requirements gathering.
- Knowledge of business planning, analysis, and project‑budget interfaces with accounting systems.
- Excellent presentation, status‑reporting, dashboarding, and writing skills; ability to influence without authority and create shared understanding.
- Ability to partner with stakeholders to ensure controls are designed and evidenced throughout the lifecycle.
- Certifications:
PMP or equivalent highly preferred; none required. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, or equivalent (high school required).
Hybrid work model; less than 25% travel.
