Job Summary
The SAP Basis Technical Analyst will perform day‑to‑day technical tasks for a project, including maintenance, support, monitoring and troubleshooting of SAP environments. The role will provide expertise in a specific area and handle moderately complex issues.
LocationThis is a hybrid role in Tampa, FL requiring three days per week in the office. Candidates may be considered in Tampa, FL or Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities- Provide technical input for maintenance requests entered into project‑identified change management
- Perform all activities related to technical maintenance and administration of SAP environments
- Provide SAP HANA support
- Provide SAPDBA and limited OS support related to the SAP landscape
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot the SAP landscape
- Develop and maintain documentation for system activities and ensure change control is followed
- Participate in application updates and upgrade projects
- Perform system refreshes
- Conduct performance tuning
- Participate in on‑call support rotation
- Handle technology issues and escalations to expert level help
- Execute projects when requested
- Implement process improvement measures within the environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a production SAP environment, or 1–3 years in a single area or 1+ years in at least two of the following: SAP Basis R/3, Net Weaver, BW, XI/PI, SCM, Portals, ECC 6
- Minimum 1 year of experience with RDBMS management
- Minimum 1 year of experience with operating systems, knowledge of system commands and structures
- Must be a US citizen with access to export‑controlled material
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years experience) or Associate Degree with minimum 6 years experience
