Position: SQL Reporting Analyst Role in St. Petersburg, FL
Contract Duration: 12+ Months
A SQL Reporting Analyst bridges the gap between raw data and business decisions by extracting, cleaning, and visualizing data. Core requirements typically include strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregations), experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Core Technical Requirements- SQL Proficiency: Write complex queries, stored procedures, joins, common table expressions (CTEs), and window functions to pull data from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Reporting & Visualization: Build and manage dashboards using tools like Microsoft SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Data Management & Spreadsheets: Use advanced Excel features (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP) for quick ad-hoc analysis and MIS reporting.
- Data Architecture Basics: Understand ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts, basic data modeling, and data warehousing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
