Sourcing and Contracts Specialist

The Sourcing and Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery for various commodities and services.

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers globally.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and other procurement documents.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, legal, operations) to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies.
• Draft, review, and administer a variety of contracts, including master service agreements, purchase agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Resolve contract disputes and ensure adherence to contractual obligations by both Jabil and its suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing, and supplier information within relevant systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the sourcing and contracting lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of market trends, industry best practices and new technologies in procurement and supply chain management.

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
