Sr Manager, Supply Chain

Responsibilities for this position include managing the supply chain activities of an organization, establishing internal controls for monitoring assets, capital investments, controlling costs, and measuring liquidity. The role also involves overseeing tasks related to production planning, materials purchasing, inventory control, price setting, vendor selection, and distribution. The Sr Manager, Supply Chain will monitor the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production needs or customer expectations are met.

They will collect data and prepare analyses designed to forecast demand or predict inventory needs, maintain contact with vendors and submit purchase orders or requisitions to ensure a continuous supply of goods, and evaluate existing supply chain processes, implementing changes when necessary to improve efficiency and overall performance.

The role requires an Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management, along with leadership skills, judgment, creativity, and organizational skills.

The Sr Manager, Supply Chain must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time and work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
