Job Description
Here at Lexington Health and Rehab, we are seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join our Maintenance team. The Painter will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors through interior and exterior painting and minor wall repairs.
Responsibilities- Paint interior rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and repairing walls
- Perform minor drywall and surface repairs
- Follow safety, infection control, and facility protocols
- Work respectfully around residents and staff
- Maintain painting tools and equipment
- Previous painting experience preferred
- Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background check and health screening
- Ability to lift
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks
- Supportive work environment
- Stable hours
