This role is not entry level and offers compensation of up to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technician I.

• Wear provided brand‑standard uniform, identification, required footwear, and protective equipment to prevent injury
• Adhere to all safety and security guidelines regarding equipment safety, guest safety, and safe chemical handling
• Change HVAC filters and perform minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Ensure fire life safety systems are functioning and operational
• Perform a wide variety of preventative maintenance duties
• Inspect and clean rooms after working in them and ensure they are in adherence with company standards
• Pick trash throughout the property
• Ensure all maintenance equipment is properly functioning and maintained
• Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance emergencies
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, and window trim as needed
• Ensure guest laundry washers, dryers, vending machines, and common areas are cleaned twice daily

• You have FSD Certification or are capable of completing the company‑sponsored certification requirements within the first 6‑8 months of employment
• You have the ability to take a company‑sponsored Pool Operator class and pass the accompanying exam
• You are currently working as a Building Maintenance Technician I for at least 1 year or have at least 1‑2 years’ experience in a related field
• You possess general knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures
• You can work well with others in a guest and team‑focused environment
• You have strong time‑management capabilities and can accomplish quality, detailed work within established parameters
• You have customer service skills and are able to anticipate guest needs, greet and acknowledge guests, and respond to guest requests to ensure guest satisfaction
• You have an action orientation and can deliver the desired outcome

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.

$20.92 - $38.37/hour (rate depends upon state/market and experience)
