Nordson Medical, a global leader in Medical Fluid Components, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team in St Petersburg, FL as a Material Handler II. ** Summary of the role
** Delivery of production materials and supplies to a production area to ensure continuous operations of processes and machines following safety and quality processes. Tasks include identifying, labeling and placing materials in stock; recording location of material, pulling and verifying material listed in production orders; delivering and opening materials; recording units delivered and location units.
** Shift: 3rd**, Monday-Friday 11 PM - 7 AM

Job Duties and Responsibilities
*** Issuing material and components to production work orders
* Organizing materials in the warehouse
* Track and maintain inventory levels
* Assist as needed to support production goals
* Follow safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
* Communicate across the division of work order statuses
* Operate in a LEAN manufacturing environment
** Knowledge,

Skills and Qualifications
*** Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Basic knowledge of plastic resins
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Experience with ERP software
* Ability to obtain a forklift license
* Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
** Physical Demands
*** Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
* Ability to bend, twist, climb, reach and lift up to 55 pounds.
* Ability to wear required PPE including hair/beard nets, hear protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, facemask and long sleeves.
* Regular and predictable attendance
** Education and Experience
*** High School Diploma or equivalent
* 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferably injection molding
