Director of Development Job Description
At our core, we are dedicated to inspiring, educating and supporting entrepreneurs and organizations in their mission to combat poverty. We champion locally owned, managed, and self-funded programs. These initiatives elevate communities, inspire job creation, strengthen the local church, and reinforce a culture of giving back.
We are a young non-profit seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the donor development and fundraising director. This full-time role is critical in designing and implementing a development strategy from the ground up: establishing strong fundraising systems, cultivating major donor relationships, and guiding us from startup phase to securing $750,000+ annually within 3–5 years.
The ideal candidate brings proven experience in scaling non-profit revenue, a robust network ("rolodex") they can actively leverage, and a track record of designing and executing successful fundraising strategies. We’re looking for someone who can both think strategically and execute tactically, helping us build a sustainable foundation for long-term growth while passionately advancing our faith-based mission.
