Role DescriptionThis is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Community Outreach Coordinator based in St. Petersburg, FL. The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for providing community outreach educational programs in South Pinellas County to the general public, health care professionals, at schools, community clinics, civic and professional organizations. Assist in coordinating other activities such as health fairs and support groups. Also, make a minimum of two presentations in Manatee County.
Qualifications- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills for engaging with diverse community members and organizations
- Experience and skills in Community Outreach, with a passion for building community connections and relationships
- Familiarity with public health initiatives and experience in working with non‑profits is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, health care, education, nursing or equivalent professional experience.
- This part‑time position is for 30 hours per week at $17 per hour.
