The role of a Registered Charge Nurse in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) hony's Hospital. The position is full-time, covering nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with an every-other-weekend requirement, and requires willingness to be on site.

St. Anthony's Hospital – Neuro ICU – St. Petersburg, Florida - Status:
Full Time - Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend requirement

- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice – CCRN, CDN or CNN
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR BS Healthcare related field OR an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion
- At least 2 years of RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
- Independently care for a group of ICU patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Care for patient needs throughout recovery in critical care
- Monitor, record, and update the care team on patient vitals and assessments
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Coordinate and document appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, simplifying medical terminology for patients
- Maintain professional accountability and pursue ongoing development
- Act as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
- Develop self and team members, sharing organizational information
