Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

St. Petersburg, Florida

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM with Variable Call Schedule | Every other weekend and holidays in rotation

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a 7-suite Operating Room at a 215-bed facility
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures across multiple specialties-
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for a variety of surgical cases including robotics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, and orthopedics
• Operate and adapt to a variety of specialty-specific surgical equipment and instrumentation
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in a variable call schedule, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, and Orthopedics
• Ability and willingness to take call per facility policy
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR or ability to quickly adapt to new EMR systems

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures including GYN, urology, and general surgery cases
• Familiarity with cystoscopy, breast procedures, knee scopes, and total joint replacements
• Strong team-oriented and flexible approach to dynamic surgical scheduling

• Work alongside an experienced, collaborative OR team of approximately 30 staff in a well-equipped, multi-specialty surgical environment
• Gain exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties and advanced robotic technology in a fast-paced, supportive setting
