Certified Nursing Assistant​/Weekends

Location: Westminster Suncoast, St. Petersburg, FL 33705, USA.

Pay range: $18.97 USD to $21.08 USD.

Come join our team at Westminster Suncoast, a beautiful active living retirement community located in St. Petersburg, recruiting for a CNA position (7 am-3 pm / 3 pm-11 pm, double shift, weekends only). • Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by supervisor.
• Preserve residents’ dignity, honor their rights, provide good customer service, communicate appropriately, and adhere to federal and state compliance regulations.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
• Maintain a clean environment: make beds, remove trash, preserve a high level of hygiene in resident rooms.
• Ensure meals are served on time and assist residents with meals and feeding if necessary.
• Take vital signs and report observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Practice infection prevention and control measures in compliance with federal, state, and facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly, accurately, and thoroughly.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure safety precautions and equipment are in place and functioning.
• Avoid skin problems or breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning for residents who need assistance.

• Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• One year of long‑term care experience or experience working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• CPR certification.
