About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Shift Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Aventura at the Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff on our evening shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention. Your leadership skills, clinical expertise, and warm bedside manner will be invaluable in making a positive impact on our residents' lives.
Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to the evening shift nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that nursing care is being delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures
- Identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the evening shift
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including medication administration records and incident reports
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the delivery of care
- Current Florida RN or LPN unrestricted license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
