Solaris Health Care is seeking a Wound Care Nurse LPN to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients'wounds.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer wound care treatments, including cleaning, debridement, dressing changes, and application of topicalmedications.
- Monitor and document the progress of woundhealing.
- Utilize advanced wound care products and technologies as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families on properwound care techniques and prevention strategies.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle and dietarymodifications to promote wound healing.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses,and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families,and the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license in the state of Florida.
- Certification in Wound Care strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience and Wound Care Experience.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facilitypreferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
