About the residency program: Orlando Health Registered Nurse Residency Program is accredited by the ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program® (PTAP)

The Orlando Health Nurse Residency is a 12 month, ANCC accredited program that supports any RN with under one year of experience through structured training, preceptorship, monthly classes, and simulation to transition into independent practice. The Care Team is an Advanced Care track designed to give residents broad exposure so they can confidently grow into the specialty that fits them best.

Residents will begin on a Med‑Surg unit for foundational training, then have the opportunity to complete structured shadow rotations in advanced care areas such as the Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, and Critical Care units.
