Inpatient Cardiology - NP or PA

Role:
Advanced Practice Provider (APN or PA) providing expert pediatric cardiac care at a top-ranked hospital.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric cardiology patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver family-centered care, communicating effectively with patients’ families and involving them in decision-making.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research initiatives to advance pediatric cardiology practices.
• Ensure compliance with practice regulations, advocate for patient needs, and incorporate ethical principles into care.

• Active licensure and certification as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in Florida.
• Master's or Doctorate in Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Preferred experience in pediatric cardiology.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, family-centered pediatric care and ongoing professional development.
