Responsibilities
- Ensure Jabil's project and product quality management processes encompass all activities that determine quality policies, objectives, and responsibilities, enabling projects to meet established requirements.
- Implement the quality management system through policies, procedures, and processes for quality planning, assurance, and control; conduct continuous process improvement activities where appropriate.
- Plan and execute internal audits, support external QMS audits, and manage CAPA/8D closures.
- Follow‑up on Design Non‑Conformance Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA/8D).
- Facilitate QMS and design site processes/documents: (1) RFQ; (2) PRD; (3) SoW; (4) D‑FMEA; (5) Quality Assurance Plan; (6) Master Product Verification Test Plan; (7) ECR/ECN/ECO; (8) Gate Deliverable Review; (9) Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) / Q feedback; (10) Customer Quality requirements.
- Manage QMS documents, review global procedures/WI templates, conduct gap analysis, and manage site QMS documents.
- Review quality requests from customers and deploy improvement actions, including customer’s CSS, Q , quality complaints and feedback.
- Serve as the quality contact point of the design site to cooperate and respond to Jabil’s manufacturing site quality incidents with relevant departments.
- Support and follow all Quality Management System and product development processes, ensuring alignment with global mission and KPI targets.
- At least 5 years of experience in QMS or DQA/DQE roles with demonstrated leadership responsibilities in a production environment; engineering background is a must.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Management System and Design Quality experience; must be acquainted with Electronic and/or Electrical product manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing RoHS, REACH, WEEE, PPW and global Green Product regulations/legislations.
- Good knowledge of statistical tools and software such as SPC, DOE, Taguchi, FMEA and Microsoft suite; strong knowledge of Six Sigma concepts is an advantage.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork spirit, proactive and self‑motivated working attitude; result orientation with aggressive attitude.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering or equivalent education and training.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality engineering.
- Fluent communication in English (speaking, reading, writing).
