Job SummaryJabil, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and manufacturing process adherence through testing, inspection, and data analysis.
Job Responsibilities- Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Document and report quality issues, defects, and nonconformances identified during inspection activities.
- Assist in product and process audits to verify compliance with established procedures and specifications.
- Collect and review inspection data, helping identify trends and deviations from quality standards.
- Support the maintenance of quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection records, and quality reports.
- Verify that measuring and test equipment are within their required calibration periods.
- Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and other quality records as required.
- Follow quality procedures, inspection methods, and company policies to ensure consistent product quality.
- Support corrective and preventive action activities by providing inspection data and documentation.
- Work closely with production and quality personnel to help maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. - Previous experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality control principles, testing methodologies, and measurement tools.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
