SUMMARYAssist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors while adhering to all safety requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform visual inspections of completed assemblies and subassemblies in accordance with customer requirements, Jabil quality standards, and applicable inspection criteria.
- Verify product workmanship and conformance using approved quality inspection work instructions, visual aids, and manufacturing documentation.
- Identify and document product defects, discrepancies, or nonconformances requiring review or disposition.
- Accept or reject product based on established quality requirements and inspection standards.
- Utilize company production and business systems to accurately document inspection activities, complete required transactions, and advance product through the manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and electronic records as required by company procedures.
- Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings through electronic communication tools and established reporting methods.
- Prepare and maintain inspection-related documentation using approved software applications and business systems.
- Support manufacturing flow by ensuring inspections are completed efficiently while maintaining all quality expectations.
- Follow all established quality procedures, work instructions, and operational requirements.
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and security policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of manufacturing, production, quality, or related industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), including professional communication, data entry, and electronic document management.
- Ability to interpret work instructions and quality documentation while demonstrating strong attention to detail and inspection accuracy.
